With a strong writing background and unwavering focus on exceptional customer experiences, I drove content strategy at Microsoft that included internal tool playbooks, app onboarding guides, funnel-building templates, and internal communication sites. Here is one of my favorite projects, the first onboarding guide for Microsoft Teams created specifically for parents and guardians.
Family Guide to Microsoft Teams
When schools worldwide pivoted to remote learning in March 2020, there was a need to help parents and students use school-approved software at home. I collaborated with the Microsoft Education Experiences team to create the first parent-friendly onboarding guide to Microsoft Teams
Families had a lot on their plate during those early pandemic days. The last thing they needed was complicated download instructions. We wanted to make it easy to onboard and start using Microsoft Teams so students could quickly get back to learning. Though this project was born out of necessity (and in a time of uncertainty), it brought me so much joy to know that we were creating resources to empower parents and students.
